Just watched this in the cinema! Awesome Movie!!..

District 9! The surprise hit of the Summer! Only took me a month to watch this LOL! The Most Satisfying film I've seen - in terms of story, way it was shot and its FX - this year so far!

10 / 10! Catch it when you can! In the cinema if possible or, if not, on the biggest screen you can find! Waow!

Mad Weekend in LA = End of Sept '09 and other bits..Waow!

Hey all,

Yeh sorry it's been a month since my last post but..it's been a wicked rollercoaster of a month! As U can see from the pix, I went to LA / Hollywood for a mate's wedding and quickie siteseeing! HOT HOT HOT! 28-30 degrees C for the weekend I was there Waow! LOL Went to 2..YES TWO Theme Parks over this weekend (25-29 Sept)..Mad Rollercoasters all over the show! WaHey! Plus, 1 place you gotta eat at when in LA / Cali = In N Out! The burgers and fries are truly scrumptious! Best in the Westcoast..and maybe the USA!

Andd.. A movie's finally goin to be shown nationwide after a lil Ltd release earlier this month (only Midnight shows in Ltd Cities across the US) and the critics are calling this "THE Scariest Movie of the Decade!" 'Paranormal Activity'...My sis n her hubby has seen it and my Bro in law was traumatised by it! HAHAHA Waow! ..and finally, Went to see the blisteringly funny Avenue Q Musical last Fri..BOY! It is a Riot! one thing = Defo NOT for kids under 14 coz of adult scenes and language! Either than that = Easily the Funniest Laugh-Out-Loud show in London right now! The cast of singers n puppeteers are Geniuses!

My Top 10 movies based on comic books..

In no particular order:

The Dark Knight - 2 Words = Heath Ledger..amazing! Just amazing!

Watchmen - Darker than The Dark Knight...Unlike no other Superhero Movie..EVER! Outstanding!

Sin City - Riveting Stories, Clever CGI, Shot mainly at the Director's Studio behind his house!

Spider-man 2 - Part 1 was wicked but with this one, the story allowed all to just 'hit the ground running' and what a sequence that subway train scene was!!

X2 - The Best of the X-Men movies! Longer! More Action! Nightcrawler in the White House! Kelly Hu! =p

Superman 2 - More or less same reason as Spider-man 2..More baddies too and it shows his weak side as a human.

Batman Returns - Alongside Jack Nicholson's Fabulously Demented Joker in Batman (1989), this allowed the Baddies to shine just a bit more than the hero.. 2 words = Pfeiffer and Devito...Wickedly funny and Awesome! Miaaow!

300 - Before Watchmen came 300..and how it was filmed was in the same way as Sin City! Brutal and Brilliant!

Iron Man - Awesome casting of Robert Downey Jr. as the morally reformed Tony Stark / Iron Man..and prepping the fans for what's to come = The Avengers movie! Woo! Bring It On! Bring them ALL On!

The Mask - Jim Carrey in a role he was born to play. Awesome FX n Cameron Diaz..who has Never..NEVER looked better since! SSssMMOokkin'!
